• Gymnasts Club Rules - Please read

    CLUB MEMBERSHIP & INSURANCE - TERM TIME GYMNASTS ONLY


    1. All TERM TIME Gymnasts must have Northwood Gymnastic membership *


    2. All  term time children must have British Gymnastics insurance and membership     *


    * Only applicable when attending term time classes



    GYMNASTS - TERM TIMER & HOLIDAY CLUB


    1. Please be punctual and leave time for changing before the class so as not to miss the warm up.


    2. Do not leave valuables in the changing room.


    3. Please ensure that no clothing or shoes are left in the reception area as this causes obstruction for our members and other people using the centre.


    4.     All gymnasts should wear suitable clothing:


    Girls – leotards or club t-shirt with shorts/leggings


    Boys – t-shirt, (club tshirt available)  or boys leotard with shorts/tracksuit bottoms.


    No Denim or school uniforms


    5. Long hair and fringes must be tied neatly at all times.


    No Long or false nails as this can cause injury.


    6. No jewellery/watches to be worn in the gym



    7. Do not work on any apparatus without a coach being present.


    8. Misbehaviour, excessive and unnecessary noise will not be tolerated and offenders will be asked to leave the gym.


    9. Do not cross areas where other gymnasts are working.


    10. No running in the gym, unless instructed by a coach.


    11. As a matter of courtesy and safety, gymnasts should ask permission to leave the gym during a training session.


    12. No outdoor shoes should be worn in the gym.


    13. No food to be brought into the gym.


    14. Drinks - Only water allowed.


    15. Please treat your coaches and fellow gymnasts with respect.


    16. Sickness - Vomit and stomach virus' - Please allow 48 hours after a virus before returning to the club.

  • Parent and Carers Club Rules - Please read

    PARENTS/VISITORS


    1. It is difficult to oversee and prevent you from taking photographs of your child duing their gymnastics sessions, as the coaches are focused on the children. So for the safety of the children, if you do take a photo or video, please ensure this is for personal use only.  We kindly ask you NOT to post images or videos with other children in on any social media sites


    Viewing areas:


    St Helen's venue has a viewing area for family and friends to watch the whole session.


    There is currrently - no viewing area at Northwood School


    2. Please remember we are not responsible for children outside their class hours.


    3. Young children should be collected from the sports hall, not the car park.


    4. Please arrive 5 minutes before the class ends when picking up your child. The club may charge pro rata per hour for late pick up. 


    5. No wet, muddy shoes in the gym viewing area.


    6. Rudeness or abusive to our coaches or admin will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave the club. No refund will be given for the rest of the term.


  • After your Trial?

    We really hope you enjoy your trial


    After your trial - You will sent an email with further information for how to join

    If you join - Payment will be taken for the class for the rest of the term. 

    The fee also includes the one-off - £30.00 joining fee.


    If you miss your trial day - you will need to book and pay for another trial - we cannot hold trial spaces without payment.


    If you choose NOT to join,


    We are sorry that you are not joining us. 


    IF YOU CHOOSE NOT TO JOIN YOU MUST EMAIL US WITH 48 HOURS AFTER YOUR TRIAL TO INSTRUCT US TO CANCEL. YOUR SPACE.

    Otherwise payment will be taken.


    If you contact us after the time period, we will provide a refund, unless you have started attending sessions.


    If you start attending sessions - please see our 'refunds terms and conditions' on our website.


    All refunds incur a £5.00 admin fee.


    Even if you haven't attended sessions, any sessions that ran the period before you contact us - will be deducted from your refund.

    The trial is to check you and your child are happy with the class and club. We welcome all abilities - we are a club for all!


    But.... If you choose not to join after your trial.

  • What should my child wear to gymnastics?

    Tracksuit bottoms or leggings and a t-shirt. If you enrol your child for the class you will receive a Northwood Gymnastics  t-shirt as part of your new members pack which can then be worn at every lesson.


    Leotards and shorts are also worn and are available to purchase at the school and online.

    All long hair must be tied up and no Jewellery can be worn.

  • Why do I need British Gymnastics membership

    You need to purchase British Gymnastics membership after your trial to continue gymnastics. 


    Without membership you will not be permitted to participate in gymnastics.


    The membership is your insurance incase you have an accident in the gym.

  • Payment information and how much is a session

    One off Joining fee - £30.00


    1 hour session = £12.40 includes VAT

    45 min session = £11.80 includes VAT


    After your trial - if you join - An additional fee of £20.00 will need to be purchased for British Gymnastics Membership.

    This is paid direct to British Gymnastics once you join. Details will be given when you join.
